Necessary session cookies
The POS session cookie is restricted to the application host, is HttpOnly and uses Secure in production with SameSite=Strict. The accompanying CSRF cookie supplies the request security token. Sessions have an eight-hour maximum lifetime and expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. Signing out revokes the current server session.
Local preferences and recovery
Local storage may hold theme and workspace preferences and a pending sale request scoped to the signed-in account and business. That reference supports checking or retrying an interrupted transaction. It does not enable offline selling or reserve stock.
Optional tracking
Advertising and optional analytics are disabled in this release. If optional tracking is introduced, appropriate choices and updated policy information will be provided before it is enabled.
Your controls
You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser. Blocking necessary cookies prevents sign-in. Clearing pending transaction data before checking the server can remove the browser’s recovery reference; check sale history before entering the sale again.
