Responsible party and contact
IEOSUIA, 26 Rock Alder, Naturena, Johannesburg, 2095, South Africa, operates IEOSUIA POS. Contact support@ieosuia.com for privacy questions and requests.
Information we process
We process owner and staff names, email addresses, business and shop details, optional customer names and contact details, catalogue and stock information, sales, refunds, shifts, subscription references and operational security events. POS does not store raw payment-card information.
Purposes and lawful processing
We use information to provide the contracted service, authenticate users, protect accounts, produce records and reports, administer subscriptions, send operational emails, investigate errors and meet applicable obligations. The business is responsible for its lawful collection and use of staff and customer information. We process that business information to operate POS on its instructions.
Access and service providers
Business members receive access according to their roles and assigned shops. Authorised IEOSUIA administrators can review accounts for support and platform operations; important actions are audited. Hosting, email and payment providers receive the information required for their services. We may disclose information where required by law.
Security
Business and shop checks restrict access. Passwords are hashed, sessions expire and sensitive account actions revoke prior sessions. HTTPS protects production traffic. Audit records exclude passwords, payment-card data and authentication secrets. No security measure can eliminate every risk.
Retention and closure
Operational information is retained while required to provide the service, preserve business records, resolve disputes or satisfy applicable law. Closing or suspending access does not immediately erase historical sales. Contact support for a data export or deletion request; we will explain records that must be retained and the applicable process.
Your rights under POPIA
Subject to applicable legal requirements, you may request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, or object to processing and withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. Contact support so we can verify your identity and investigate. You may also lodge a complaint with South Africa’s Information Regulator.
Cookies and local storage
Necessary cookies maintain sessions and prevent forged requests. Local storage keeps a pending transaction reference so a network interruption can be recovered safely, and stores interface preferences. Optional advertising and analytics are disabled in this POS release. See the Cookie Policy for details.
Updates
We will update this policy when processing changes. The latest revision is available here. Significant account-related changes may also be communicated by email.
